Brother Piano finds a new home in Overijssel

De Brother Piano is verkocht aan een heel leuke muzikale familie in Balkbrug. Veel piano plezier daar! Ik ga opzoek naar mijn volgende project.

I am, again, on the look-out for a large Japanese high gloss black piano that needs some tender loving piano-technician’s care.

Top quality Japanese piano, comparable to a Yamaha U3.

Another Japanese instrument. A fantastic 88 note 127cm high gloss black emperor of a piano. The action is currently being completely restored. It is a Brother piano (yes, sewing machines, printers and stuff) designed and manufactured in collaboration with Tadashi / Atlas. It was built around 1970.

It is expected be performing as a new piano again sometime around June 2023.

And this text belongs to the photo shown below: In the early 1950s, the National Conservatory of music of Japan and European Piano designers successfully developed the predecessor piano brand “Tadashi” of “Atlas”, which is only used for teaching and performance of the National Conservatory of music. Tadashi brand is highly praised by the Japanese society.

NEW PROJECT – Victor Zen-on Piano

A new project. It’s another Japanese Victor piano. This is the 128cm Zen-on model. Some say that it was Kawai’s attempt to create the best piano ever. Others say that Yamaha based its flagship U3 model on it. It’s a 128cm model with a fantastic dynamic tone, especially the bass. This particular piano will be treated to new tuning pins and new centre-pins in the action. It with then be fully regulated and tuned of course. If you’re interested in owning and playing one of the best pianos ever, it should be up for sale around April time.
